Information for Current Students

Save the Date! Recital is May 3, 2025

We will once again be joined by my colleague Bailey Poesnecker and her teaching studio. The fabulous Joe Strachan will accompany us on piano. Recital will be at the beautiful Lynnhurst Congregational UCC, 4501 Colfax Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55419.

Recital will begin at 2:00 PM and will end around 3:15 PM. Light refreshments and snacks served afterwards. Friends and family are welcome. Stay tuned for rehearsal schedule (immediately preceding recital).

Group Lessons begin September 2025

I will be partnering with Arts on Bryant to offer group lessons to my Book 1 and Book 2 students.
Proposed Schedule
Twinklers & Early Book 1 - 2:00-2:30 PM
Later Book 1 and Book 2 - 2:45-3:15 PM

Group classes will supplement your private lessons with opportunities to explore other music, play games, and learn the joys of playing music in an ensemble. Parents should attend and take notes, and may be asked to assist our youngest musicians.

While there are several excellent violin shops in the Twin Cities, House of Note is my go-to for all violin purchase and repair needs. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, with a large supply of fine instruments, accessories, and music.
